It’s been hectic around here the past few weeks, not only because Art Fair is coming (I’ll be in booth #203!) but we’ve been fighting the good fight with our ISP. Email has been intermittent at best and having that nagging, along with running out of days to weave and dye has upped my blood pressure a bit. But, the good news is that progress is happening.
That’s over fifty dishtowels all washed and pressed and ready to go. That’s a big chunk of this year’s inventory and represents a lot of cones of yarn. I need a lot of colors to make my warps and, over time, odds and ends do start to build up. For the last round of towels, I set myself a goal. Use only the odds and ends, with an eye toward emptying as many of these as possible. So here’s where I started:

I was a bit worried that it’d be muddy since most of the colors are very close in value. But, never fear. It looks like things will be ok after all.
